Oh my goddess.
I was sitting here listening to another call and the rep was very...and I mean EXTREMELY condescending to the customer. I was sitting here completely flabbergasted. Because I KNOW that if I had taken the same tone of voice with MY customers my happy little pagan butt would be out the door in a heartbeat.
I finally turned around and looked at this rep and said. "You were talking to your CUSTOMER like that?"
"Well the woman REALLY needed help otherwise we were going to be on the phone all night"
Well you know what? I don't care if you're on the phone until the next Ice Age, you DO NOT treat your customers like that. I may not be Little Miss Mary Sunshine sometimes when it comes to my customers but I at least keep some sense of decourum when it comes to them.
