Why Hello Ivan

As you can tell...Ivan is paying us a visit. He's not here too badly yet, just some spitting rain and a little breeze...We'll see more of him as the day passes on. It was fun driving to work though because there were a few periods of hard rain...and as people in the state of TN just don't know how to drive...Gawd...I hate to see what its gonna be like this winter...
I think we're gonna have some snow, some ice and a lot of cold weather. The reason I say this is because:
1.Last winter, the snowfall was almost nil and temps RARELY got to below freezing. Very unusual.
2.Not many bugs this summer. I didn't even see the Great Cicada Outbreak which was so heavily touted and TN gets SLAMMED with every 17 years.
3. The past FEW winters have been relatively mild and we're quite due for a storm of MAJOR proportions as evidenced by The Great Ice Storm of 1994.
4.My arthritis has been getting worse as the year has progressed and it didn't do this last year...that's a sign to I think...
